Human rights watchdog Karapatan and the Ecumenical Voice for Peace and Human Rights (Ecumenical Voice) are set to go to the United Nations’ Human Rights Council headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland to formally file their complaint against the government and state forces, in line with the case of the 43 health workers who were arrested while in training in Morong, Rizal last February 5th.

A 30-year old Filipino migrant worker in Saudi is in need of blood money in order to save his life. Joselito Zapanta, a Kapampangan, and a father of two little kids, was sentenced to death last April 14 for murdering his Sudanese landlord. He was also accused of theft. He is now staying at the Malaiz Central Jail in the Saudi capital of Jeddah.
