ANTIPOLO CITY, JULY 12, 2010 – International singing sensation, Charice is said to be receiving a whopping US$100,000 (€79,537.55/P4,627,000.05 based on the prevailing exchange rate, last July 12, 2010, of €1.00:US$1.257 and P46.27:$1.00, respectively) as talent fees per show.

Puno is reportedly tapping the international singing sensation for a show but because of the singer’s hectic schedule, the former finds her real difficult to book.
Even Star Records, the local recording studio that has released Charice’s first local album a year ago, also titled Charice, had said that they also find it difficult to commit the international singer due to her busy schedule.
Charice is now promoting her album, Charice released by Warner Records, allover Asia. She had been to Macau last July 9 and 10. Yesterday, she flew to Korea and she will be there until the 14th. Next leg of her promotional tour will be here, in the Philippines – from July 18 to 21; in Thailand, July 22 to 23; and last stop will be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She will be staying there from July 24 to 26.
On July 28, Charice will be in the United States for her shooting in the famous TV sitcom, Glee where she will be a guest for the whole season 2. On the 31st, Charice will be on Sta. Monica, California for a fundraising party.
Charice was discovered by Ellen DeGeneres via YouTube. She had become a guest to the Ellen DeGeneres Show in December of 2007.
But it was Oprah Winfrey who had given the 18-year old singer a big break, when the Queen of Talk had her as a guest in the Oprah Show on May 12, 2008. Winfrey had Charice introduced with the “Hit Maker” David Foster that has been discovering singing sensations, the likes of Celine Dion and Whitney Houston.
Winfrey, also Charice’s godmother said, that Cha-Cha (Charice’s nickname), is indeed the most talented girl in the world.
Her self-titled international album, Charice, with its carrier single “Pyramid,” had been hitting the Top 200 Charts and the Dance Album Charts, with more than 40,000 units sold.
